SMS Privacy Notice

Scope

This notice applies only to the recurring Lineup workout-text program operated by Alistair Gillespie. One-time security and phone-verification codes authenticate a user and do not enroll that person in workout texts.

Information collected

When a person separately opts in, Lineup records their verified US mobile number, the workout they joined, consent timestamp, consent language version, consent source, and exact workout URL. Lineup may also process message-delivery status and STOP, START, or HELP requests needed to operate the program.

How the information is used

Lineup uses this information only to send an immediate enrollment confirmation and automated information about that joined workout: important time or location changes, cancellation, one pre-workout reminder, and waitlist promotion. Lineup does not use the program for marketing, promotions, workout discovery, or host-written text blasts.

Mobile information and consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won’t be shared with any third parties.

Contracted service providers may process mobile data only on Lineup’s behalf to authenticate users and deliver requested messages. They may not sell it, use it for their own purposes, or use it for marketing or promotional purposes.

Choice, frequency, and rates

Workout-text consent is separate, optional, unchecked by default, and not required to read a workout, create an account, or RSVP. Message frequency varies according to the workouts joined and changes made by their hosts. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

Retention and contact

Lineup keeps consent and suppression records as needed to honor messaging choices, document compliance, prevent unwanted messages, and operate the program. To request access or deletion, contact hello@alistairgillespie.io. See the Lineup SMS Terms and general Privacy Notice.
